Congratulations to the South African Matric Class of 2025

UXi Artisan Development congratulates the Matric Class of 2025 on an exceptional national achievement.

Against the backdrop of the largest matric cohort in South Africa’s history, an 88% provincial average and a record national pass rate of 87.3%, announced by the Minister of Basic Education, Ms Siviwe Gwarube, on Monday evening, 12 January, this class has set a new benchmark for resilience, commitment and excellence.

We commend not only the learners, but also the teachers, parents, guardians and support systems who walked this journey with them. You have given South Africa hope and momentum for the future.

The World That Awaits You

CEO of UXi Artisan Development Elsie Harmse invites learners who passed Grade 12 with Mathematics and those who passed with Mathematical Literacy as well as all other successful matriculants, as well as those whose news was less fortunate and without the MSS-pass. “A wide and exciting world of opportunity now lies ahead – provided you persist, upskill and qualify through accredited post-school education that leads to real employability and career readiness.”

UXi Artisan Development, firmly believe that passion plus persistence and properly accredited qualifications unlock access to:

We proudly congratulate South Africa’s top matriculant for 2025, Abigail Kok of York High School in George — a town that is home to Africa Skills GeorgeTech and Africa Skills George-Ntaka, celebrating 20 years of skills training and development in 2026.

Well done to Abigail, and heartfelt congratulations to her parents, Albert and Susi Kok and to York High in George. Your achievement reflects dedication, discipline and passion — values we celebrate deeply as a George-founded tertiary education group”
