[/col]“From a young age, I was drawn to the challenge of understanding how things work — especially electricity. That passion led me to pursue my Red Seal qualification in the electrical trade at Africa Skills in George.
It wasn’t just a milestone – it became the foundation for a career that now takes me offshore, working around the world in demanding, high-voltage environments, on crucial offshore infrastructure. Currently I am enjoying great times and challenges alike as a high-voltage electrician appointed to work on ocean-based wind farms in the Netherlands.
Thanks to my Red Seal, I’ve gained access to opportunities I never imagined. I earn a strong, stable income doing specialized work I enjoy, while constantly learning and growing.
I’m able to support my loved ones, travel, and enjoy experiences that were once far out of reach — all because of the skills I carry in my hands and the qualification that backs them.
What makes it all truly fulfilling is knowing that I’m doing what I love every day, solving real problems with practical skills. The Red Seal is more than a qualification — it’s a passport to independence, purpose, and opportunity.
